It's apparently ending per Crazy Insane Man Mr. (scratch that, he doesn't deserve the title of "Mr.") Camping. Since his prediction that the Rapture would occur on May 21 didn't come true, he has now said that he was wrong with his calculations and it will be October 15. This was, of course, after he and his wife took some down-time and got a hotel room to "collect their thoughts" and re-predict this event. He has said though that "God did come on Saturday". He came to warn us about what is to come in the near future, and he was partly right about May 21. Are you serious? What an idiot. What I don't understand is how someone proclaiming to be a Christian can even go there. You OBVIOUSLY do not know what the Bible says. But hey, cheer up! It's not the end of the world! (I can't take credit for that line; I saw it on Facebook and thought it was GREAT.) I heard on the radio this morning that his insanity has driven other people to insanity, i.e., a woman attempting to murder her two children to spare them from the Rapture. Who's with me on rethinking the whole committing an involuntary person to a mental institution? Because these folks are ca-razy! Here's my thing - you can't stand up on a plane and yell "BOMB" or walk through the court house and yell "GUN". But, you can stand in front of the ENTIRE WORLD and proclaim that it's ending without any repercussions. Some people will never cease to amaze me.

In other world news, prayers are being sent to Joplin, Missouri for the horrific tornado that swept their town on Sunday. Did you know that another tornado struck Tennessee yesterday? It won't get a lot of press because of the stuff in MO, but prayers are needed there, too. And I'm sure you've heard about the flooding in the South. This is very close to home. And it's scary.
